Areas of Practice

Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and our areas of concentration include family law, real estate transactions, corporate formation and transfers and estate planning.   Our areas of practice are chosen by design.  Inevitably in a divorce case, there is a real estate issue. It could be something as simply as buying, selling or refinancing the marital residence.  Or, it could be as sophisticated as valuing and dividing commercial or residential real estate portfolios.  In addition, with the trend towards small business and self-employment, our corporate background allows us to analyze corporate issues in the context of a divorce and also provides us with the knowledge necessary to interface with financial professionals.  Our family law practice allows us to advise our corporate and real estate clients the risks of joint busines ownership with their spouses and/or partners who are married.  Finally, getting a divorce, setting up a new business, or buying or selling real estate are all life changing events.  Our estate planning practice allows us to advise clients regarding the accumulation and preservation of wealth during these milestones.
